Google Testing Ad Search in Adsense Ads; Publishers Beware

(No Ratings Yet)
I use
Adsense ads on this blog and today I came across a different kind of ad on my blog. The banner ad within the post was showing a box for searching ads. It seems Google is testing new type of ad format which will ask users to search for a keyword to see ads. If Google implements this in long term, it will surely reduce publishers’ earnings drastically because of the extra step involved in reaching the ad destination for the users. Have a look at the screenshots below:
I tried searching for DVD, which was a keyword related to my post, and was taken to a new page showing related ads only. See screenshot below

I think all the reports about click fraud and dropping click through rates have lead Google to find a new way of serving ads. Putting an ad search box for users to look for ads does not really make sense to me. If I am reading some content about a particular topic and come across a related ad, I will probably click on it but I will not search for an ad.
What do you say, will you search for ads particularly while reading some content?
