iPhone SDK download crosses 100,000 mark

Apple reports that within four days of its launch, the iPhone SDK has seen over 100,000 downloads. This clearly shows the amount of interest developers have in the iPhone as a platform.

With the free SDK and much hyped iFund from KPCB, we can hope to see some interesting applications. Though the focus of iFund is on location based services, social networking, mCommerce (including advertising and payments), communication, and entertainment, I am more excited about the platform’s potential for business applications and gaming.

Which innovative applications do you see coming out of iPhone platform.
