TipJoy is a new startup which lets people visiting your blog or website to leave a small tip for you. All they need to do is enter their email address and the tip is credited to publisher’s account.
Alternatively, people can directly tip anyone from the TipJoy website using the publisher’s email or website address. They are also providing a bookmarklet using which readers can tip anyone while surfing the web. Publishers can place a TipJoy button on the web pages which has a defaults tip value of 10 cents. Readers can increase (even decrease) this amount if they wish to tip more than the default amount. This is how it works:
It seems that they are only providing an option to purchase Amazon certificates with the money collected which is a kind of restriction. I think they should be providing the publishers an option to withdraw money through PayPal or some other service.
