Microsoft Announces Silverlight Streaming Ads Pilot on AdCenter

Microsoft has announced the launch of a pilot program for U.S. publishers for serving ads in video using Sliverlight Streaming Service and Microsoft AdCenter.

The program will allow select Silverlight Streaming account holders to take Silverlight videos and automatically insert contextual advertisements into the end-user video playback experience.  The publishers will be required to provide relevant and complete keywords while submitting videos and ads targeted for those keywords and optimized for the viewer will be included in the video.  After this, the publisher can take the video and place it on the web.  The revenue generated through these ads will be shared with the publishers.

If you are eligible and wish to participate in the program, you can register using their content ads interest form.
