Mippin, a mobile content portal, has launched a new service for publishers called Mippin Maker using which you can create a mobile version of your web site or blog for free and earn money with it.

The content which is converted for mobile rendering then becomes searchable and accessible from mobile phones through Mippin.com. The mobile version of your site, a Mippsite, also gets a new address on Mippin which can be directly accessed by your readers on their mobile browsers. Currently, Mippin supports most of the color phones with WAP 2.0 support and minimum 176 pixels wide screen. Here is a preview of how B.E.T.A. Daily’s Mippsite looks on a mobile browser.

Your Mippsite can also be monetized by authorizing Mippin to serve ads on your mobile page. Mippin is using AdMob, a mobile advertising network, to serve ads on Mippsites.

I found the overall process of creating a Mippsite very easy and it did not take me more than 10 minutes to register and mobilize my web site.
