Google Launches Solutions Marketplace

Google seems to be really serious about its enterprise business as it has made another move in this direction.  Today, it has announced the launch of Google Solutions Marketplace which will connect the Google solution partners and 3rd party developers with customers.

It is marketplace for enterprise customers who wish to deploy, integrate and/or use Google’s applications in their workplace.  The marketplace is mainly focused on providing solutions related to Google Apps and Google Enterprise Search.

The marketplace provides vendors the ability to create their profile pages, list their their product offerings, integrate Google Checkout and Google Analytics, provide links to solution demos.  For more details on how to become a vendor, see the Google Solutions Marketplace Vendor Guide

For customers, it provides the ability to search for vendors, customer reviews and ratings.
