Sixer.tv Launches Catch A Sixer Contest For Indian Premier League

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is becoming one of the most hyped sports event in India and it is even getting popularized in nations where Cricket is not so popular including the U.S.  In order to cash in on the popularity of upcoming IPL series for boosting the registered user base, Sixer, a cricket based social network, has launched the ‘Catch A Sixer’ contest.

As per the contest details, people can win Rs.6,000 for every Sixer they catch while watching the game.  This is applicable for all the sixes hit in all the 59 matches during the inaugural IPL series starting from April 18, 2008.  In order to be eligible for participating in the contest, you need to be a registered user of Sixer.

I am myself a big cricket fan and really enjoy the shortest version of the game.  If you are a cricket fan, you must watch the IPL which is going to be really exciting.  Go ahead and check the IPL schedule to keep track of all the matches going to be played in the series.
