Google Docs Go Completely Offline With Presentations And SpreadSheets

On April 1st, Google had announced offline access for word processing documents in google-docs-logo-thumb-thumb the Google Docs package.  Today, Google has announced that the same feature has been extended to cover spreadsheets and presentations as well.

The offline access to Google Docs is powered by Google Gears and is a very handy feature for people who are on the move and are expected to face Internet connectivity problems.  You can access all your files without Internet, read them, edit them and once you have access to the Internet, the files are automatically synced with the server.

As with word processing documents, the offline access is limited to spreadsheets and presentations in English only and the support for other languages will be launched later.

Just to remind that installing Google Gears is a must to access Google Docs in offline mode.
