Nitendo WiiWare: Download Games On Your Wii From Wii Shop Channel

Nitendo has launched a service called WiiWare which allows for downloading games directly to the Wii console from the Wii Shop Channel.

Currently, six games are available for download as part of WiiWare which are Final My Life as a King, LostWinds, Defend your Castle, Pop, Blackjack and TV Show King.

Users can download games on their Internet connected Wii console in exchange for their accumulated points.  If the user does not have Wii Points, they can purchase it directly from the Wii Shop using a credit card or prepaid cards purchased from retailers.  You can watch the tutorial for connecting your Wii to the Internet.

Nitendo is also promoting WiiWare as a platform for independent developers to develop, deploy and promote their games amongst a huge Wii user base.
