Nimbuzz has launched an interesting service which bundles various services like
VoIP calls, instant messaging, chat, and photos and file sharing from mobile phones in a single application. Nimbuzz works with Skype, instant messengers like GTalk, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM & Jabber and over 20 social networks including Facebook and MySpace.
Nimbuzz, once downloaded and installed on the phone, creates a unified contact list by aggregating information from all the supported services on the basis of information provided by the user. The contact list then shows the names of people and their presence status along with the icons for different services. Nimbuzz allows its users to make free calls using VoIP services offered by Skype, Google talk, MSN, AOL as well as to the other Nimbuzz users. The application also allows for free conference calling, text messaging, voice messaging, chat, file, photo and ringtone sharing for Nimbuzz users.
Currently, Nimbuzz supports over 500 phones from 22 brands along with al Nokia Symbian 60 devices. The company is planning to launch the supported version for Windows Mobile Phones as well as iPhone very soon. The application is available for download free of cost but the users will incur data charges from their mobile operators.
If you wish to use Nimbuzz, you can find out if you have a supported phone and download the Nimbuzz application.
