Create Surveys And Polls And Embed In Web Pages With Google Spreadsheet Forms

Google Docs has released a new feature in its Spreadsheet application which allows for embedding the Forms in web pages.  Earlier, the users were restricted to sending forms and inviting others to fill out the form through email.

It is a handy feature for creating and embedding polls and surveys in your website as it uses Google Spreadsheet in backend where all the data is collected and you can manipulate and visualize the data as per your requirements using the spreadsheet.

Here is how you can create a form and embed it on your web page:

1. Open a new Spreadsheet from Google Docs interface and save it.

2. Click on the “Share” tab select “to fill out a form”

3. Add questions, select question types and add answers to your form.

4. Click on Save.

5. Go to “Preview and Send” tab and you can find the embed code as shown in the image above.

Please provide feedback regarding the new theme with a poll which I created using Google Forms.
