iStockphoto Launches iStockaudio For Royalty Free Audio Content

iStockphoto, a site which provides royalty free stock images, videos, flash files istockaudio and vector illustrations to the users, has launched a new service named iStockaudio.  The new service will provide audio content to its users under its existing pricing model and a revenue share for the contributing artists and composers.

Currently, the site is seeking audio content from artists and composers to add to its database which will be opened to customers in September this year.  Stock artists can submit an audio track ranging from 5-30 seconds in length for being approved and once the submission is approved, artists will be able to submit tracks between five seconds and four minutes in length.

Once available, the customers will be able to purchase the audio content for price ranging between $1 and $25 depending upon the size and complexity of the audio track.  The artists will get 20%-40% of the sale amount as per the number of downloads for their content.

With the inclusion of audio content iStockphoto has become one-stop destination for customers looking for royalty free multimedia content.

You can have a look at the iStockaudio training manual for help on submitting your audio tracks.
